Guys will never understand exactly what you mean when you become a woman, right Sally!
Made this one for sweet Sally Bend, and I was going to post it to her trading folder on the Haven, but she doesn't have one! Silly Sally! Anyway, when I saw the picture, I just had the idea that it would work perfectly for her. Probably should have saved it for when it gets colder in Canada, but for all I know, it could already be snowing up there!
It's always fun to have a premise where a character makes a statement, and then another person starts rambling and going on about something to do what the statement, but gets it totally wrong. For one thing, it can be used for misdirection at the reader's expense, and it also makes exposition a bit easier, without hopefully forcing it down the viewer's throat.
And you might wonder why I didn't make her text all pink, instead, using her blonde hair as a tie in to the yellow font. Just about any pink I used looked garish or washed out against the background. Honestly though, I think there is enough pink in the picture that I didn't need to highlight it anymore.
And I'm sure that Sally likes the view in the photo of the nice flat front of her bikini bottoms!
As another blog exclusive, I'd love to get some comments on this caption. Also, check out Saturday's post, as it was a "lost caption set" from 10 years ago. See how I've evolved since 2009!
I love, love, love 80's movies. And I love Molly Ringwald.
