We shall be back with our usual hijinks tomorrow. Here's a more hopeful, realistic caption for everyone!
This was the 2nd caption I had worked on, back when I wasn't sure I'd have the holiday spirit. The "naughty angles" caption would have been the Christmas Eve caption, and this one would have been posted in Christmas Day, as I tend to go more with a "sweet" post than a naughty one.
And yes, outwardly, it really has nothing to do with Christmas in design, or form; but it's more of a feeling of elation and exultation .. with both subjects in the picture being somewhat fluid gender wise, which is why I was drawn to it in the first place.
And hopefully I captured that here in the text. JUST BE KIND. Back tomorrow with more scheduled holiday silliness.
In the comments, please let me know what you are doing for the holidays this year? Meeting up with family and friends? Chilling out in the safety of home and hearth? Caroling or seeing a concert?
I am so glad that I got to see "The Monkees" just a few weeks before Michael Nesmith died. He looked frail that night, and many in the crowd wondered what was happening. His passing did not shock me at all. But the fact that he wanted to go out and perform for all the fans that supported him over the years is satisfying to me, that he was able to hear the adulation one more time before he slipped off the mortal coil.
