NEW SHOES WEEK! St. Rachel's Prep. School Has Some Issues!

Well, for males at least, it's hard to get some relief! Come inside to see why!

Yeah, so I just realized that having a theme week means that you have to post something every day or so .. or it really isn't a week, is it? So I will bang this out quickly, plus figure out if I have time to whip up another caption for Friday. Tomorrow will be dedicated to Joe D. and his magical feet.

So, on this one, another standard setup and follow-through that I'm guessing many of us have an affection for .. becoming a school girl .. in uniform. I love tights, but honestly, in late spring, who wants to sweat your teenage bum in tights when you can just wear some comfy knee socks, especially when paired with the class black mary janes?

Until second grade, I went to Catholic and Montessori schools. Through first grade, I was taught in a convent building filled with nuns. Trust me when I say that it can be VERY hard to find bathrooms once you wandered away from the basement! I used to practice piano during everyone else's nap time, and if I needed to use the restroom, I had a penguin escort me down 3 flights of stairs, then back up them again. Made me realize that you should always pee, even if you don't think you need to!

I'm guessing that influenced my thinking here in this caption, even though back then we didn't have a school uniform. In second grade, I was in a straight up Catholic school with hideous colors: drab gray pants and horrid green shirts. There was only so much that even the girls could do with that! A few months later, I got transfered to a public school and the rest is history!

Do I HAVE to come back tomorrow as well? Fine .. I'll do it! Mostly because I love you all!
