I've never liked the feel of wool. How about you?
Made this one about two weeks ago, almost simply on a whim. I like the way the picture was constructed and the contrast between the girls was remarkable. In it, I saw a kernel of familiarity that I'm sure many of us in the community feel, and I wanted to bring it out front, while also having fun with it. Just a little quickie and not for anyone in particular.
I am not quite a black sheep in my family, as we are more of a black branch on the family tree. My dad was the black sheep so I guess I am a black lamb? My daughter is definitely a black ewe. There is a family portrait that still hangs in my grandma's house, and we are stuck in the corner (this was before my daughter was born and my mom was still alive, maybe 1992?) and look like we were photoshopped in. I don't think the portrait photographer knew what to do with us. "Are you sure you are related to these, people? The coupon says family members only!"
I've always taken in in stride, with the motto being, "if they weren't your family, you'd never hang out with any of them!" and they probably feel the same way about me and my loved ones too. I only see them maybe 5-6 times a year though for holidays we only live about 5 miles away, and it is probably why we still get along decently. Every time we go to Grandma's house for an event, I make sure to take a few tylenol with me, as they are al very loud. You leave talking 20 decibels louder than when you showed up. We all do love each other, though one of my most infamous moments happened when someone was complaining about how my cousin's ex was screwing him over in regards to the divorce. My reply was,"Well, he probably shouldn't have stuck his dick in a nurse, right?" Somehow we still made it through Thanksgiving dinner without someone throwing stuffing at me!
DISCUSSION QUESTION: Anyway, let me know .. are you the black sheep in your family? or are you one of the more normal ones? Do any of them know about your proclivities online or in real life in regards to things of a TG nature like you are reading about here?
