Brittany might have been born at night, but not last night.. Or maybe she was?
How would we really know? And neither would she if this was a typical TG caption. And that was what I was trying to get to .. how reliable are narrators or the story that people inside the caption generate? More so than that, would our protagonists believe them if they found out what really happened to their bodies. And at what point do they just accept the situation because, what else can they do? The alternatives could be worse.
And from that, I extrapolated this little story line. What is real and what isn't? How should I know? I just wrote the thing, I don't have to believe it, do I? Maybe I'll listen to you and think you know the truth, so tell me, goddess!
Honestly, I had put this picture into a caption setting way back around Marie Kondo time .. figuring I would work with it a bit later when I had a fresh idea for it. Came back to it just recently and still wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, until I looked at what I titled it, "tackychoices" and then just started writing around that bit of a brainstorm. the first line of dialog came right away .. and when I wrote the first few liens of her dialog, I came up with the half a dwarves line. Then it was just coming up with ludicrous tales of how she went from female to male and back to female again.
Making a bit of a dent in the amount of captions I'd like to have done to keep the blog running smoothly when I'm not around over the next 2 weekends and the days in between. Saturday morning and evening was productive last weekend and I'm happy about what I will be posting. Some will be blog exclusives and others are made with someone in mind, usually for a trade. Now if I can make ONE caption Wednesday through Friday, I'll be ecstatic!
