Sometimes you need to look at things from a different angle to really appreciate them!
I am not sure if I have posted this one before. Made it a LONG time ago for Skylar. I loved the artsy look about the picture and knew it would work well with whatever text I wished to write. On this one, I had to play with fonts to find the one that would work properly, block styled fonts would look chunky on a black background, so a thinner one that still had sharp lines was the best choice. The irony is I don't think that font is available standard anymore in Photoshop, as when I tried to open up the file, it gave me font substitution choices. Perhaps I had found the font elsewhere and was from a few computer iterations ago? This one was created at the beginning of 2009.
Hope everyone is enjoying a long weekend, or at least though in the US. Today started the first day of my vacation week, so I won't be back to work until Monday, June 6. Going to be working on the apartment, hanging out with family, and catching up on some other real-life commitments that need to be taken care of in this free time. I am hoping to sneak in some normal rest and frivolity too!
Over this time "off" I think I will post during my usual time slots / posts per week, but alternate between new and old captions that I don't think I've posted here before. There is also the DIY Challenge that runs through the rest of May that hopefully will have many entries for me to post!
We've only got 1 or 2 more A/C units to install here! It's nicer in this room already! Keep cool!
